With strength, love, & gratitude,

It has always felt very natural, and very fulfilling for me to be providing this type of care as a radiation therapist. My head and my heart deeply align with this work, and that’s why I have always felt so passionate about creating a positive experience for the people in my care. Throughout my career I noticed a repeating pattern of the same uncertainties, fears, concerns, and questions patients were asking me in the clinic. I found myself intrigued by these two questions: ‘How are we preparing our patients for this experience? And what can we offer them for peace of mind?’ Being someone who personally places tremendous value in head and heart alignment due to the peaceful energy that follows, I felt compelled to do something about it. I wanted to provide information to people that felt accessible, helpful, easy to understand, and uplifting. I wanted to show people how they can regain some control, so they could arrive at their appointments not feeling lost, but rather feeling ready. I knew I could help others create a powerful mindset for this intricately complicated chapter in their life, and thus, my book, ‘Let’s Talk Radiation Therapy’ came to be. Thank you so much for being here. It is my deepest hope that this book brings you peace.

Meet Margeaux

Radiation Therapist,  Author of “Let’s Talk Radiation Therapy”

Growing up as a child fascinated by medical sciences, I never questioned that I would one day work in this field. With dreams of working at Massachusetts General Hospital, I set my sights on a career as a radiation therapist out of high school and never looked back. I spent my freshman year of college studying at the University of Vermont and went on to finish my degree in Boston.  In 2007, I graduated from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences with a Bachelor of Science degree in radiation therapy, and an award by Bracco Diagnostics for Clinical Excellence.

I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to grow up, study, complete my training, and ultimately have a fulfilling career in an area of the country where exemplary medical care is provided.  My career has taken me to Massachusetts and New Hampshire, where I have had the great pleasure of working at Mount Auburn Hospital, South Shore Hospital/Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Exeter Hospital, and Wentworth Douglass Hospital. After eight years working as a radiation therapist, I finally made it to Massachusetts General Hospital, too.
